Your claims must be made within 30 days of the insured incident.

All relevant documents and information must be submitted together with your claims.

It usually takes 10 working days to process your claims after all required documents are received.

Personal accident/ medical expenses while playing golf

Required documents

  • Original medical bills
  • Medical report or discharge summary stating onset date, cause, extent of permanent disability (if applicable) and nature of injury
  • Police report/letter from golf club confirming the incident
  • Death certificate, autopsy report and coroner’s findings (death claim)
  • Proof of relationship between deceased and claimant (death claim)

Lost or damaged golfing equipment & personal items

Required documents

  • Police report / investigation results / incident report / Letter from golf club confirming the loss or damage
  • Colour photographs of damaged property and location
  • Assessment report from repairer on the cause and extent of the damaged item(s)
  • At least two quotations of repair or replacement of the lost or damaged item(s)
  • Original invoice / purchase receipt of lost or damaged item(s)
  • Original repair / replacement invoices / receipts
  • Please do not dispose of the damaged item until we have settled your claim as we may need to inspect/verify the damages.

Expenses for my hole-in-one celebration

Injury to others or damage to their property

Required documents

  • Letter from golf club confirming the incident
  • Letters, writ of summons from third party with supporting documents if any (e.g. invoices of items, quotation for repair)

3 Send us your documents and claim form

Email pcc@income.com.sg with a picture or scan of all required documents and the completed claim form.

Ensure that the overall size of your email attachment(s) does not exceed 30MB. For medical claims, please send the original medical bills to our postal address or submit them at our branches.

Please keep the original completed claim form and the required documents for your own reference. You do not need to send them to us.

If I accidentally hit someone with the golf ball while playing golf on a golf course, can I claim for my legal liability to the third party?

Yes, our Golfer’s Insurance indemnifies you against all sums which you become legally liable to pay as damages consequent upon accidental bodily injury to any person whether fatal or otherwise caused by your negligence whilst playing or practicing golf on any golf course or driving range.

If I accidentally sprained my ankle while playing golf in a golf course outside Singapore, can I claim for the medical treatment?

Yes, you can make a claim for the medical expenses incurred resulting from an accident whilst playing golf on any golf course or driving range anywhere in the world. It is subject to the policy limit and provided that the expenses are incurred within 12 months of the accident.

If I celebrate my Hole-in-One achievement one week later at any restaurant, can I still claim for the entertainment expenses?

No, we will only pay you the cost of entertainment expenses (for food and beverages only) incurred within 48 hours from your hole-in-one shot which you achieved whilst playing in any competition and/or friendly game in any recognised golf course.

Can I claim for loss or damage of my golfing equipment?

Yes, you can claim for golfing equipment if the loss or damage arises from any accident or theft whilst at or in transit to or from any golf course or driving range.

If I have misplaced my purchase receipts, can I still claim for loss of personal items?

Yes, you can still submit the claim for our review.

You should take note that in the absence of the original purchase receipts, it is more difficult for us to accurately assess their value. This may result in a further revision of the claim payout which has already been adjusted for depreciation or wear and tear.
