  • Q:What is Orange Health?

    A:

    Orange Health rewards people who take the responsibility to keep themselves healthy. It offers a health screening programme, which rewards you if your test results are within the acceptable ranges for the four specified tests.

  • Q:How much does the Orange Health Screening cost?

    A:

    The Orange Health Screening is at S$15 (inclusive of 7% GST).
     

  • Q:What are the four tests covered in Orange Health Screening?

    A:

    The Orange Health Screening consists of four tests:  

    • Height and weight examination to determine your BMI
    • Blood pressure reading
    • Lipids profile (total cholesterol, LDL, HDL and triglycerides)
    • Fasting blood glucose level test
  • Q:Are these four tests sufficient for me to know my well-being?

    A:

    Health screening is important to all adults as it helps to detect diseases early for people who look or feel well. The Body Mass Index (BMI), blood pressure reading, fasting blood glucose level and lipids profile are tests that can benefit adults in almost all age groups. They are recommended by the Health Promotion Board for general health screening.

  • Q:Who is this Orange Health Screening opened to? Can I go for this health screening if I am not an existing Income ("Income") policyholder?

    A:

    Our Orange Health Screening is open to everyone, as long as you are aged 21 years and above. You do not need to be our policyholder to go for this health screening at S$15 (inclusive of 7% GST).

Registration and health screening process
  • Q:How can I sign up for the Orange Health Screening?

    A:

    You can sign up for the health screening at www.income.com.sg OrangeHealth. Booking of appointment slots must be made at least 14 days in advance, prior to your selected health screening date.

  • Q:Where are the locations for the Orange Health Screening?

    A:

    The Orange Health Screening is conducted at Unity Family Medicine Clinic and selected clinics under Raffles Medical. You can find a list of the health screening locations at www.income.com.sg/OrangeHealth.

  • Q:How do I prepare for the health screening? What do I need to bring?

    A:

    You must fast for at least 8 hours before the health screening; otherwise the test results would be inaccurate and the cost of the health screening is non-refundable. This means strictly no eating or drinking any flavoured drinks. Drinking of plain water is allowed.


    Please continue to take your medications before coming for your health screening appointment. If you are a diabetic patient, please do not take your diabetic medications on the morning of your health screening appointment.


    Do remember to bring along a photo identification card (e.g. NRIC/FIN, driving license).

  • Q:Why must I fast before the health screening?

    A:

    Fasting is a standard procedure for fasting blood glucose and lipids profile tests and is essential for an accurate result to be obtained for the above-mentioned tests.

  • Q:How long will the Orange Health Screening take?

    A:

    The health screening will take about 10 - 30 mins per person, depending on the provider you have selected. 

  • Q:What do I do if I cannot make it for the appointment slot which I have signed up for? Can I reschedule my appointment slot? What if I don’t turn up for the health screening?

    A:

    You are required to be punctual for your scheduled appointment slot. Latecomers may not be able to proceed with the health screening and might have to reschedule the test for another day. For rescheduling of appointment slots, please email to us at orangehealth@income.com.sg at least two weeks in advance. If you do not turn up for your appointment slot without giving us advance notice, you may not be able to participate in Orange Health Screening in the future.

  • Q:I need help with the registration for the Orange Health Screening. Who can I contact?

    A:

  • Q:When will I get my Orange Health Screening results?

    A:

    For tests conducted by Raffles Medical at selected clinics, your test results will be mailed out to you 3 weeks later at the address indicated during your registration.

    For tests conducted by Unity Family Medicine Clinic, your test results will be mailed to you 7 working days later at the address indicated during your registration, provided that your test results are within the acceptable ranges. Otherwise, Unity Family Medicine Clinic will contact you to advise you to follow-up with your own doctor or at their clinic.  

  • Q:Why are the test results not immediately known?

    A:

    The blood samples taken by the medical providers will be sent to the laboratory for testing. The results are sent back to the providers, where the reports are prepared before mailing to you. Therefore, some time is needed for your test results to arrive.

  • Q:Who can I contact for a follow up review if my health screening results are not within the acceptable ranges?

    A:

    For health screening conducted at Unity Family Medicine Clinic, you may wish to contact the clinic directly to make an appointment with a doctor for further consultation. Please take note that there is a consultation fee of S$28 (excluding GST) that is chargeable by Unity Family Medicine Clinic, excluding cost of medicine (if any). 

    For health screening conducted at Raffles Medical, you may wish to contact the clinic directly to make an appointment with a doctor for further consultation. Please take note that there is a consultation fee that is chargeable by Raffles Medical, excluding cost of medicine (if any). 

  • Q:I have lost my Orange Health Screening report. Who should I contact?

    A:

    If you have lost your report, please contact your health screening provider.

    • For health screening reports by Unity Family Medicine Clinic, please email to orangehealth@ntuchealth.sg to get a replacement report. The cost for each replacement report is S$5.
    • For health screening reports by Raffles Medical, please call 6311 2222 to be directed to the specific clinic where you underwent the health screening to retrieve a replacement report. The cost for each replacement report is S$5.

  • Q:What is the Orange Health reward?

    A:

    If you are insured under IncomeShield, Enhanced IncomeShield or IncomeShield Standard Plan, you will receive a redemption letter to redeem a S$50 CapitaVoucher from any of the CapitaLand Mall outlets located islandwide.

    If you are not insured under IncomeShield, Enhanced IncomeShield or IncomeShield Standard Plan, you will enjoy S$50 discount off your first-year premium if you purchase an Enhanced IncomeShield or IncomeShield Standard Plan policy with us within 6 months of your Orange Health Screening test date. Simply submit the cover letter of your Orange Health Screening test results along with the hard copy application form for Enhanced IncomeShield or IncomeShield Standard Plan in order to qualify for the discount.

  • Q:How will I get my reward?

    A:

    If you are insured under IncomeShield, Enhanced IncomeShield or IncomeShield Standard Plan:

    • If you qualify for the Orange Health reward, your redemption letter for the S$50 CapitaVoucher will be mailed to the policyholder of the IncomeShield, Enhanced IncomeShield or IncomeShield Standard Plan policy. You can expect to receive this redemption letter within 2 months from your health screening date. You must redeem your CapitaVoucher within one month from the date of the redemption letter.

    If you are not insured under IncomeShield, Enhanced IncomeShield or IncomeShield Standard Plan:

    • If you qualify for the Orange Health reward and would like to sign up for an Enhanced IncomeShield or IncomeShield Standard Plan policy with us, simply submit the cover letter of your test results along with the hard copy application form. Once your application is approved, you will be entitled to a $50 discount off your first-year premium for Enhanced IncomeShield or IncomeShield Standard Plan policy. To find out more about Enhanced IncomeShield or IncomeShield Standard Plan, you may call our hotline at 6332 1133 or drop by any of our branches.   • Q:I am an existing Income policyholder. If my Orange Health Screening results are not within the acceptable ranges, will Income be notified? Will I be penalised by Income for my existing policies?

    A:

    You will not be penalised by Income for your existing policies if your Orange Health Screening results are not within the acceptable ranges. However, underwriting for new policies may apply.

  • Q:How many times can I participate in the Orange Health Screening? Can I get multiple Orange Health rewards?

    A:

    You may go for the Orange Health Screening more than once, but Orange Health rewards are capped at one reward per person per year. You will still be required to pay S$15 fee every time you go for the health screening.

    If you are insured under IncomeShield or Enhanced IncomeShield:

    • The one year period will start from the date of the reward redemption letter sent to the participant.

    If you are not insured under IncomeShield, Enhanced IncomeShield or IncomeShield Standard Plan:

    • The one year period will start from the policy start date of your Enhanced IncomeShield or IncomeShield Standard Plan policy should you successfully purchase an Enhanced IncomeShield or IncomeShield Standard Plan policy with Income.
  • Q:Who can I contact if I did not receive my redemption letter or have lost it?

    A:

  • Q:My results for the four health screening tests under the Orange Health Screening are in the acceptable ranges and I would like to sign up for Enhanced IncomeShield. Will I be able to qualify for multiple promotions for new Enhanced IncomeShield policyholders, including the discount under this Orange Health Screening?

    A:

    You will not be eligible for multiple promotions for new Enhanced IncomeShield or IncomeShield Standard Plan sign-ups.

  • Q:Can I submit medical reports from other medical providers if I did not participate in the Orange Health Screening?

    A:

    Yes, you can email your medical report from other medical providers to orangehealth@income.com.sg, provided that the date of submission is within 6 months from the date of the report, and the report must contain the results for the items measured under the Orange Health Screening. Please include your full name and NRIC No. in the email too.
