What to do when a death occurs

1. Obtain the Certificate of Cause of Death

 

If the death occurs in a hospital:

  • Seek direction from the ward matron or nurse.

If the death occurs in a hospital:

  • Call the family doctor or police where applicable

 

2 Engage a funeral director

 

3 Register the death

 

This may be done at

  • Any Police Post (NPP)
  • The Registry of Births & Deaths 3rd floor, ICA Building,10 Kallang Road (S) 208718 Tel: 6391 6100

 

Things to bring to register a death:

  • Certificate of Cause of Death
  • Identification papers of deceased and informant. eg. NRIC / Passport / Certificate of Registration of Birth / FIN card

Package details

Package price (including GST): From $3,300

Package includes:

  1. Casket.
  2. Clothing for the deceased (for male only), bathing items, 1 garland, flowers, claypot and banana trees.
  3. Use of one air-conditioned mini bus on 3rd day for ash collection or one 40-seater air-conditioned bus on funeral day only.
  4. Photo-enlargement and frame.
  5. Hearse, manpower and driver.

Optional services

  • Arrangement for tables, chairs and refreshments
  • Funeral arrangements for children below 10 years (flowers and burial items)
  • Ground burial arrangements

Other optional services that are not included in the package:

Cremation

  • Booking fee at Mandai Crematorium and Columbarium Complex
  • Extra bus to crematorium

Burial

  • Booking fee
  • Extra bus to burial ground

Service provider is expected to offer 10% discount on the total bill.

  1. 1 unit of tent with side canvas
  2. 20 tables (10 round and 10 square) with 100 chairs
  3. 2 standing and 3 ceiling fans
  4. 50 yards of general lighting
  5. 1 portable toilet

Optional Items which can be arranged with service provider:

  1. Catering of food and drinks
  2. Religious rites (Hokkien, Teochew, Khek, etc.)
  3. Urns for ashes (cremation)
  4. Tablets (cremation)
  5. Niche (cremation)
  6. Temporary headstone and tripod (for burial service)
  7. Tombstone (for burial service)
  8. Rental of parlour
  9. Burial plot

Service providers are expected to offer 10% discount on the total bill.

Pengurusan lengkap dengan perkakas dan embalming ke/dari Malaysia (Daerah Johor) – Dari $1400*
Indonesia – Dari $3800.

  1. D) Perkhidmatan membuat Dapur-dapur

Kami menerima tempahan untuk membuat dapur-dapur daripada ceramik/marmar dan kayu.
