How PA Assurance provides coverage in the event of an unexpected injury
Bryan, a 25-year old sales representative and sports enthusiast, signed up for PA Assurance Plan 4 to protect his active lifestyle.
While playing his weekly game of football with friends, he suffered an unexpected leg fracture. He was taken to the hospital and was admitted for further checks.
After visiting a doctor, he learned that he would be required to stay at a hospital for 6 days, and was given 8 weeks of medical leave to recover at home because he is unable to work.
- Ambulance fee: $200
- Medical expenses: $15,000
- Daily hospital income: $400 x 6 days = $2,400
- Weekly cash1: $500 x 8 weeks = $4,000
Total claimable amount: $21,600
After his discharge from the hospital for his leg fracture, Bryan was recommended by his doctor to seek follow-up treatment which incurred additional expenses:
- Mobility aids: $250
- Physiotherapy: $250
Bryan also decides to go for additional treatment by a Chinese medicine practioner which costs $150.
Total claimable amount: $650
With PA Assurance, Bryan can concentrate on recovering well without having to worry about his medical expenses.
