Being a Graduate Trainee also meant I was assigned a career coach who constantly guides me and maps my career progressions. My career coach helps me focus on what I want to achieve, so that I am able to work toward my goals effectively.

Calvin Tham Manager, Digital Office

I have gone from strength to strength since joining NTUC Income. My growth is fuelled by sound advice, constructive criticism and a wealth of opportunity from all levels of management within the company… The GTP is an avenue that you can consider to start your professional journey.

Rikki Suarez Manager, Property investment

I enjoyed my 12-month programme as I’m empowered to take charge of my learning and development needs, while I consider my career path at Income. My job rotations to business functions such as Acturial, Investment Risk Analytics and Investment Compliance were well planned and structured. The experience and insights value-added to my current role in the Risk Management team. The high quality of the Graduate Trainee Programme signals that Income cares about not just employees’ career development but their personal growth too.

Vicky Phua, Senior Executive, Risk Management Graduate Trainee Alumni 2016

I was coached by Income’s Chief Marketing Officer, Marcus Chew, who guided me on career planning based on my personality profile. He encouraged open communication, which allowed me to freely express my thoughts and share my career ambitions.

I was given the chance to rotate to three business functions namely Product Development, Product Marketing, and Life and Health Operations. The exposure to these areas of work widened my perspective and deepened my understanding of the organisation. More significantly, the experience prepared me well for my final placement in the Product Development team and value-added to my role where project and stakeholder management with colleagues in these key functions are critical.
